Eva Mendes (born in New York City) is an American actress and model. The actress was noticed by a talent agency who saw her talent and then convinced her to take on an occupation in the field of entertainment. After many hours of thought and reflection, she decided to drop out of the university to pursue a career within the entertainment business. In the film Children of the Corn V Fields of Terror she debuted and was disappointed with her performance. To prove herself she appeared in a variety of low-budget films to improve her acting. It was a difficult path for this actor however she was successful thanks to her strength of character and determination. Her acting career took off when she was able to earn not only praise but also acknowledgement for her performance as a character in Training Day.
